Antonio Stradivari Guitar
Paul Gentile's outstanding 1/7th scale miniature Antonio Stradivari guitar was modeled after one of the two only surviving guitars produced by the famed instrument maker.

Gentile matched the master's original maple, spruce, boxwood, ebony, vellum, white pearl, ivory and pear wood.

The rosette is a study in exacting detail. It is made of three separate layers of vellum to create a 3-dimensional carving with 36 pieces of white pearl inlaid around the sound hole. Testimonials.

On the back of the tuning head, Paul has inlaid the name of Stradivarius, place and year in the identical typeface filled with black compound.

Gentile custom makes some of his own tools in order to achieve the minute details in his miniatures. He works with a jeweler's loop to see the tiny pieces, some of which are barely visible to the naked eye. Production of this unique miniature took one and a half years to complete.
